not bad... dont 1st gen strut covers fit 2nd gen?
kinda, the passenger side fits with no issues, the drivers side is missing a mounting bracket, and need to have something easy fixed up, not too hard at all.
yea imma look on ebay for the covers... that should finish it off under the hood..;)

i thought i just saw somebody with a set for sale on here a few days ago, i wonder if they are still available?

thanks dude.. i keep her clean.. I'm ganna by a used nav for it.. I'm hoping that it will just plug into my factory wiring harness. :shifty:

not if it is OEM, simply put, not going to happen as every signal part of the system is different.

it is much cheaper, easier, and better preforming to get an aftermarket nav

To add OEM nav, you need:

For a minimum install you need:
Wiring harnesses (several of them)
Nav head unit
Nav DVD trunk unit
Factory four channel amplifier (the nav head has no built in amplifier)
GPS antenna

For a complete install, you also need to add:
rear view mirror with microphone.
new steering wheel buttons.
sub-woofers and amplifier.
Replace all speakers (the THX nav speakers in the doors are different than what you have.)

Really, it is much easier to put in after-market nav.

thanks for letting me know before i went out and spend a :q:q:q:q load of money.. just an idea, and i guess it will just be an idea haha But yea i really wanna put a new tv head unit in;)

I don't get it ... how come no one ever has the strut covers or corner AC vents? .... always puzzled me :confused:

My car didn't come with the interior panel under the trunk lid. The previous owner was a real bonehead.

Huh? Strut covers were not standard on the gen II they were omitted along with the full size spare for cost savings. And corner ac vents??

As for the covers i rock two passenger covers in mine.

Really? How cheap..
The corner AC vent triangle thingies (interior obviously).. has nothing to do with your car or pictures Mike.

Yeah but they upgraded other parts. For example the gen II has real wood vs plastic. And the ebrake and nav and all that good stuff.

the gen II doesn't even have the bracket needed to support the strut cover for the driver side. Hence why I have passenger side covers in mine. And I guess the ac vents fall out. I have mine though.

yea i first day i got the car the A/C vent on the passenger side popped out.. kinda pissed but nothing a little superglue couldn't fix.. lol

It was more about weight than cost. Both my '06es have the dash vents. I don't know of any issue with the vents.

Two passenger side shock mount covers from Max. The most you will pay is around $25 shipped man. Really finishes off the engine bay. So does install an intake, removes all the gawdy silencer crap right in the front.

Also, my friend noticed that my passenger ac vent just popped out last weekend. I never even touched it and it just popped out. Must have been hanging by a thread.
