hey guys i need a lil advice i have the normal upper black grille with the chrome trim. can someone please tell me the best way to clean the chrome portion, its nicked up really bad and pitted and just doesnt shine anymore thx

I would use Klasse All In One. Love that stuff on chrome. you need to use a chemical type cleaner. Do not use an abrasive type cleaner.

i've used steel wool, buti use like 4 ought super fine :q:q:q:q. and i spray zep 40' cold weather formula and it shines real nice. that also works nice on windows

i couldnt find tthese products anywhere so i used so chrome finish or something it helped a little but there are a lot of scratches and dents and it isnt shining as much as it should. any other suggestions?

Well part of your problem is the fact that it's not real chrome. That piece is actually plastic, the chrome is just an overlay.

If it's way too pitted, your only option maybe is to find another chrome piece off of ebay or junkyard. You could also have the piece sanded down and have it color matched to your car which is a popular around here.

I wonder if Lincoln has them new still?

thx for the links. well i would get it sanded and painted but im chroming my car out right now. rocker panels, pillar posts, already got the rims so im trying to polish all my chrome up and oh yea im getting a upper and lower horizontal grille. everything is in the mail im waiting for it to touchdown and im finally finally putting a new system in
