does any one have the cliffoord alarm with remote start on their ls becuase i was thinking of getting it but was worried the PATS system wouldnt allow it

If the alarm and remote starter is like any other you will need to get an extra key made and programed. The extra key will go in your dash or somewhere to start the car with the remote start. The key fob on the remote can be programmed to unlock your doors and roll down your windows like the factory fob can. It should be no problem. I don't have one myself but my parents put the Viper one in thier 2003 Explorer and it works fine so I see no problems if one was installed in the LS.

I have a clifford alarm w/ the remote start and didn't have to get another key to get it to work. However, if you want to be able to roll your windows down with the remote... You'll need to by some window modules. You can still roll the windows up and down and open and close the sunroof, using the key in the door.

I have the Clifford Matrix with remote start and no problems here.
