Has anyone ever tried putting 2003/2004 cobra brakes on an LS? Our options as far as it goes for a good brake setup are few and far between, not to mention extremely expensive. I have the 13in. Cobra setup from my Mustang and was debating throwing them on, but just wanted to first see if it has been tried before.

Thanks!

Cobra?

Very likely no one has tried doing what you propose. At the very least, the difference in the bolt circles would be a significant impediment. Other than going to the readily available drilled and slotted rotors and premium pads, the only choices seem to be to go to the outrageously expensive Stop-Tech hardware or to install Wilwood stuff which requires fabricating caliper mounts. My own choice is the Wilwood route---see my brake posts in 'Land Speed LS', just below.

Yeah, I figured a bracket would have to fab'd to get it to work. A long time friend of mind has a machine shop, so i guess ill look into having some made. In the meantime, I'll cross my fingers and see if itll just bolt right up! (which I highly doubt, but its a necessary box to check off the list)
