coil removal.

Is there any trick to taking out coils? I didn't want to pull to hard and :q:q:q:q something...they're just rubber gromets right? no threading? I know there's one screw for each, and the little wire clip. Any help?
Definitely not a mechanic here...pretty stupid/noobesque question.

Unclip the harness, take out the little bolt and pull, Its just the rubber boot holding the coil to the plug. Pull as hard as you would like

Use a 7mm for the bolt.

It's not too hard...

Yes, you are being told correctly that you can replace these coils and that there really isn't too much that you can harm. I am not a mechanic and replaced all 8 in my 2000 LS V-8.
