Combination trouble

I figured out my code. It's been working great until now. I'll but in my code and "5" to open the trunk and..... nothing. The rest of the doors open when I press the correct buttons. But not the trunk?? Help please.

try a six

I have had to enter a six at the end of every ford product that I have ever owned to get the trunk to pop.

I really need to turn this into a tech article.

Our keyless entry pads unlock our driver's side doors by entering the code printed on the side of the keyless entry pad module mounted between the rear speakers.

If your code is 12345,
to open the driver's side door would be 12345,
to open the trunk would be 12345 then 5,
to open the passenger's side door would be 12345 then 4,
to open the doors and the trunk, enter 12345 then 4 then 5.
To pop the front hood enter 12345 then 10.

*hint ... who put the freak in french fries?

Oh yeah;
does your trunk open with the glove box button and the key in the ignition and turned to run?

My 91 Mark uses factory code + 5 again - to pop trunk --
you may have a trunk latch problem -- see if it works from the glovebox
release button -- if not then you have some other troubleshooting
to do -- the suggestion to use 6 is moot -- the 1/2 -3/4 -5/6 -7/8- 9/0
buttons are common contact pairs and it doesnt really care if you
want a 5 or a 6 -- its still the same trigger to the module -- the 10 digit locking combination is just marketing physcobabble -- the module only has 5 digits
available to it --- If you need the wiring diagrams let me know and
I will try to post them here

Damn You guys are quick

Did not take you guys long to get that one did it. Just trying to inject some humor into what turned out to be an extremely boring day. I used to get my friends codes and then give them new numbers based on the combos and watch the dumbfounded looks on their faces when they tried to figure out how their codes were changed without me having ever touched their car. :monkey:
 
I figured out the problem. I was putting my tag # instead of my combination code. My tag # is 76928 and my combo is 76*** imagine the confusion.

It shows you're human and NOT afraid to admit a mistake that, believe me, MOST of us have made.

The code is either on a sticker on the passenger side trunk hinge, or on the keyless entry module under the rear package tray.
