Considering lowered coils

This your standard Strutmaster conversion kit; I'm considering swapping all 4 springs and the 2 front shocks ( the full SM kit was installed about 35 k miles ago, the rear shock mounts are AAS s/s)

looking for opinions on how much to lower (1", 1.25", 1.5". 2"?) and what front shocks to get, top concern is a smoother ride, if you have a part # or link that'd be helpful; rims are 96 or 98 oem Cobras, 17x8

I wouldn't lower it any. It looks really good where it's at now. You're not going to get a smoother ride by lowering it either.

cant say anything about lowering that hasn't already been said.
but, tokico blues are "alright" with a shorter than i'd like life span.

Looks great as is. Did you ever lower it anyway? It would be interesting to know the results if you could lower it and still get the nice ride along with that.
