Injectors, fuel pump, p+p, b&m shift kit, 03 cobra cams, custom cold air box, modified maf, true duals back cats and res delete, custom tune. Use to have a zex 100 dry shot with trction control unit, (removed at 150k)
 
I think I'd love an extra 100hp, especially if it was progressive, but not sure I'd want to pay to fill the bottle so often!

sounds nice, do you have any 1/4 mile times?
 
Never ran the quarter with her. Was always scared i'd leave the trans on the track. I've always feared and respected the 1-2 shift. Very rarely will I hold full throttle for that shift. Most of the time if I'm getting on it I will let off when its shifting second. Zex system was set up to kick in after 60, cut off at 6300rpm, then kick back on after the shift. I love to get on it, but baby the shift points. Knock on wood, but the way I drive it I should have never passed 200k on the stock trans, but she still works fine.

Hell, at 200k all I have changed are brakes, tires, idler pulley, battery, plugs, fuel filter, rear sway bar bushings, and re-threaded a spark plug. Been the best car mechanical/reliability wise I have ever owned.
 
Update...new picture with tint at 20% all around. I almost wish I had gone to 15%. Next up is some 18's on nice rims...but not till fall sometime.

Dammit - I wanted to be the first with the retros :D

I have plans for that exact setup as soon as it gets a little cooler outside. I've lived with Silverstar Ultras for the past year and fought the urge to just drop in HID bulbs -- I wanted the projectors too. I can't decide if I want to paint any portion of headlight housings dark, say a gunmetal grey.

This month's major expense will be a full trans rebuild and new torque converter to finally fix my TCC lockup issues.
 
That's a sweet ride too -- old school class with all the modern technology under the skin. Even the wheels look like they belong; just subtle enough to make you look twice.
 
yea the light output is WORLDS better than the stock halogens. yea i thought about painting the inside of the housings, but i didnt think it would look right, with my color at least. oh how much is that gonna run?

hey who did your custom tune? and about how much did it cost? ( if you dont mind me asking) im going to get mine tuned since i have to do something about the CEL from the 01 motor swap anyways. a shop where i live wants to charge me 700$ to do a custom dyno tune

heres the interior of my 98. current pic, just got the wheel with the radio/ac controls from a 99 in this weekend, also got a shifter knob, black lincoln airbag logo(98 is red), and front seats, and the little A-pillar plastic door pieces.oh and a driver window switch and 2 front whole spindle assembly's lol. i was busy. lol car also has a 01 clock

nice ! what % tint do you have on the 99 do you know? it looks good ive been meaning to tint mine.

heres some pics. i got a little bored with some plastidip. i like it though. i still have more plans for it whenever i get the time.

I went 5% this time, i just had my accord tinted with 15% and I was not to happy with the darkness, or lack there of- They both are light cars with light interiors which makes the tint even lighter. I have tinted dark cars with dark interiors with 15 and have been happy with it. Actually, come to think of it, I believe my 2K was with 15%

oh ok well it looks nice. im probably gonna go with like 32% because the cops hassle people really bad around here. :mad: should still look ok tho.
