Coolant for '99 Continental

Please advise on how to flush/drain and refill my '99 Continental. I am assuming, after reading the Owner's Guide, that it needs to be refilled with a 50-50 mix of green coolant and distilled water. Thanks in advance!

That mixture sounds fine you can even go up to 70-30 of anti to water depending on your climate.

The biggest tip I can give you is to refill the system from the proper port. Use the little round plug at the top of the 'h' hoses for filling and there will be no problems. If you refill thru the overflow opening, you will have trapped air and overheat in 4 miles.
