hey all. I have just one quick question.

on my 2000 LS V6, my coolant bottle has 2 hoses that attach to it on the top, going into the engine bay. my question is this: I just gt the car and noticed that the hose closest to the firewall on top is missing! it looks like was just ripped off of the tank. can someone tell me where that is supposed to go?

thanks guys.

no, not the heater bleed valve, although I do see that. I guess I am looking for the "engine vent hose"? ill go out and snap a picture of it.

The engine vent hose is a long one that runs from the top of the degas bottle to the coolant outlet pipe at the front of the engine.

Nothing goes there. The bleeeder hose kinda clips to it but the thing your talking about isnt an open line goin to the degas bottle.

OK, I am an idiot. I saw what looked like a place for an actual hose to go and jumped to conclusions. it was for the heater bleed valve.

Thanks guys.
