l am pretty positive it is not the steering any ideas as to what else it could be, l was told a dry tie rod or bad bushing????

Squeeking Noise

Hey iroc, I have the same problem. My mechanic says 'ball joints.' Push down & let up on the hood with all your weight & see if it squeeks. LOL, texstead

it is either the ball joints, upper/lower control arms, front sway bar endlinks. check the bushings they are most likely worn to living hell!

how long do l have til something gives out????
it did this about a month ago then stopped and now it's started again
and with christmas here l am curious how much longer l have til something gives

Ball joint(s).

When it does give, the wheel will fall off.

Which Ball joints usually fail when the wheel falls off the upper or lowers?

if the lower goes your wheel goes way out if the upper goes then it folds under, either way you aint going nowhere
