Dallas GTG this Saturday.

I'm going to make it out tonight unless something else come up but car will be dirty.
 
Gonna stash my car, Rollin with Bill...my tires are crap and don't know how much longer the block sealer is going to hold
 
Just got done detailing the car now I have to clean MY under carriage. :p
 
I am heading out now to meet up with whoever is coming. Should be there between 7:30 an 8:00.

It was good fun! We had a mini convoy with a couple GTs and a Cobra. Pulled into the lot and it was like a car show but it was just the regular Saturday night GTG at the local burger joint. I was invited to a Ford GTG at the Ford dealership next week. Free lunch and all. :D

I really got a big head too. When I parked next to the Mustangs when we were meeting up to make the trip together a couple guys drove by and said "All those cars are real nice but that one (points at mine) is the top dog!" :lol: Even at the burger joint I was amazed at the attention it got. I would have never expected so many compliments from non-Mark VIII people.

It really felt good after all I have done on the car to get compliments like that. More so when I took a Cobra owner for a ride and now he wants me to install a supercharger on his car. :)

Who was the other mark 8. Got tied up shooping with my old lady for our halloween party then got lazy. You try the burgers.
 
The blue on the end is mine, that pic was at walmart in corsicana.. Twinbopilot showed up in his black/black at the meet in Dallas..

The #5 burger was worth every bit of $2.60 ...
$6.00 got me a burger, large tots and a large shake...and a beer
 
do you guys ever meet up in the waxahachie area?? i a newbie looking to meet other fellow mark members. i have met some stangs in the burleson area but thats a ways to get to. Later

Waxahachi isnt too far from Corsicana or Ennis. Could see about a small GTG in one of those areas.
 
Dfw area hasn't really no want for a mark viii meet. I hear talk of trying to have a meet but none have really followed thru. But ill be in for a meet.
 
There's never an actual Mark meet because you and gman pussed out on the last one

Because you are a complete flake. You have been invited to several get togethers and you never show. Sometimes a few peopl,e show and sometimes its only a couple of us hanging out. If you, GMAN and Mark would commit then there might actually be more then two marks.
 
I guess they don't realize that well, you and I will be there...and we don't care that's it's not the prettiest Mark, bring it, that's what clubs are about...and we call them.. Progress Threads, we know its old and has dents and probably doesn't run right

Both you are full of chit. Both of you have been invited to many GTGs and some were over a month in advance. This particular one was only a week notice when I PMd or texted both of you.

Hey I understand some people are flakes and will talk a big game but never follow through but dont put this chit on me or Sapperfire. When we try and get some Mark VIII people together that bitch about nobody ever getting together, we actually show up!

Make some effort people!

No panty bunching. Merely stating fact. You have every excuse in the book for not showing to ANY of the GTGs then come on complaining there are no GTGs or begging people to make one in Dallas.

TWICE now I and others made a special effort to make some in Dallas so you could show up. We drive over 140 miles EACH WAY and guess who don't show up?

To be honest the last one at keller was an actuall mark gtg it was ur buddies having a gtg and u just invitied other lvc guys
 
Don't hate that I get to go halloween shopping. Plus I felt fat n lazy afterwards
