Dccv?

No need. There's no learning for the valve. Your system is now working the way it is supposed to.

I was not thinking there would be any "learning" relative to the valve. Rather I was considering a potential benefit to a reset of AC Control Unit itself.

Shouldn't be. BTW, it does a full reset when you exit diagnostic mode.

The funny thing is that no matter what I tried following all the different instructions I was never able to get mine to do a diagnostic.

i would imagine joehr is right, that there is nothing to learn and that if there was something to reset it would do it after the self-test. though i never looked that up, so it could be wrong. you might want to go search the service manual, bc it would have more info.

that is weird that the self-test wouldnt work... i would say again check the manual. someone may have told you the wrong button combos to press. i know i would have to look it up personally

an hour to re&re you say. Ha ... bet I'm going to be on it for the entire morning!
I tend to get distracted and either get fresh coffee or clean nearby parts.
Sounds like me...."look at that brake fluid reservoir can't even see the damn fluid max full line" taking a sip of coffee lol!
