I had bought my car with the chrome on rocker panels and B-pillers. Not exactly my style but the car was a deal at the time. Now 2 years later, I decided to remove the rocker panel chrome trim. I had a couple people tell me that they liked the chrome look on there. Too late it's gone! The only problem is that the paint bubbled on both the driver and passanger doors. A couple places the paint came off the the adhesive. I'm going to order the paint from that on-line store I saw someone had posted.

Wow I like that look. I'm keeping the chrome on the B-pillers though. I want to paint the black trim at the bottom the same color as the car.

yeah can you post some pics, i cant stand the chrome trim and i want to get rid of it, also let us know how the painting goes on the bottom trim, I dont understand why they dont paint them, it seems like they are impossible to keep looking good

Just updated my garage with 2 photos just now. But not good images, will try again later.

I forgot to mention that the chrome rock panels hold moisture and I'm sure road salt. It hadn't rained here in the city with the World Series Champs and the most crime, but there was moisture and alot of dirt behind the panels. yuk! That's why the paint probally bubbled and pulled away.

How does the LS do in snow? I live in florida and driving in the rain sucks because RWD and the traction control isnt the greatest

Well, you have to go slow and cautious, (don't want to bang into anything )

I agree the traction control isn't the best.
