Death to PA Drivers!

I was exiting I-83 North at the exit that goes over to Haines Acres, and one of those bastard PA drivers decided that instead of waiting on traffic he would pass us all on the right on the exit ramp. I followed him about a hundred yards down the road and got him to stop. I read him the riot act and took his license number - I told him that I was going to turn him in. I pulled ahead about 30 yards and started to turn around in the parking lot of a shopping center and this :q:q:q:q:q:q:q pulled behind my car and hit me! Smashed the bumper - it'll have to be replaced. Worse still was that he knew the cop that responded and the cop refused to give him a ticket. I told my insurance company that I want his insurance to pay. I don't believe that I have to pay a deductible because of his problem. OK, I done venting. BTW, I have photos. I'll post tomorrow.

Why didn't you just do what everyone in Chicago does and run him over and never come clean about it? I'm pretty sure they teach it in the driving schools here...

Not only did I want to hit the :q:q:q:q:q:q:q, I want to hit the :q:q:q:qing cop who wouldn't give him a ticket. Oh well, what is it they say about karma...?

If he hit you shouldn’t that be considered aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and be arrested for that? You could file a complaint and get the cop in trouble also for not doing his job. and if you have pics and a report that’s even more proof that he didn’t do his job. Who cares if he knows the cop that could be a nice lawsuit?

My advice ... I know you didn't ask, but since when did that ever stop me? :) ... just take a few deep breaths, let it go and take a life lesson. If you had just let it go in the first place--when he was driving like a testosterone-drunk mule deer buck--the collision wouldn't have happened. His bad, but your bad, too. One testosterone-drunk mule deer in a clearing, no problem. But put two of 'em in a clearing and they'll both have head-aches later. God! Don't I sound rustic? LOL

I'd only let it go if his insurance pays. Thats total BS that someone hit your car on purpose and got away with just because he knew a cop. However, why in did you get him to stop in the first place? If you were concerned with his driving you should have just called it in without ever stopping him.

JoeyGood - I've considered calling my lawyer. My wife is telling me to forget it. I'll just have to think on it a bit.

Sloban - Are you a girl?

The Bebel - Yes, I know. But hindsight...

Yep, just let it go.........................

And the next person who hit's you, let it go. You know the saying, just turn the other fender. That is pure BS. If more people would learn to stand up for themselves, then morons like this would think twice about doing these types of things. If Paul was injured would you say let it go. The guy did not have to stop when Paul flagged him down. I know the exit that Paul is referring to, and there have been a few deaths on that very ramp due to morons passing on the right to get through the intersection faster. That is the exact same area where I was hit from behind, and the cop refused to cite the man who hit me. And I was sitting at a red light. The cop just said, he's an old man, what good would a ticket do. Complacency and turning the other cheek is exactly what causes things like this to happen. The guy did something wrong, and when he was called on it, he reataliated. He is very lucky that it was not me. Because had it been me, I would be on bail right now, and his family would be planning a funeral. It was assault, plain and simple. If it were me, I would have an attorney looking into both his assault and failure of the officer to cite him for such. You were denied your right to due process under the law.

Damn Straight!

Well, I don't want to kill him, I just want to slap the snot out of him - and the stupid cop, too. BTW, his name is Patrolman Russel Schauer - if you run into him, well, just watch him, he's a prick.

I am familar with him..............................

I have had dealings with him in the past. Like him telling me I could not have the stolen and recovered tags from my BMW back because they were evidence. He told me to go pay for new tags and registration even though I had just renewed the stolen ones. Didn't like it much when I went to his Seargent and did a little name dropping. We are really starting to get more than our share of AZZHOLE cops in our area. Must be something in the water. Glad I drink the botteled stuff.

Hrmmm..... in NYC its all a regular occurrence i can not remember one day where i have not seen someone some driving down the exit ramp or even riding the shoulder to cut traffic ....especially during rush hours.... just have to learn how to be vigilant....dont really see why you had to be the only driver to decide to tail the guy down the exit ramp... sucks to hear about the cop and the insurance issue though....good luck with that.

I learned a big lesson from this - in Europe we would have just shot the :q:q:q:qer. Next time, I'll severely beat the :q:q:q:qer on the side of the road and let the :q:q:q:q:q:q:q cops pickup the pieces. In NYC, you might drive that way, but when you come down to the country leave that :q:q:q:q up there. I used to drive a different way in Europe, too, but I left that over there. In Rome, you know what I mean...?

All for safe driving, Never said that I drove that way, surprised you dont see alot of that anyway since Harrisburg, Philly and Baltimore are not too far away.

Naw, I'm just smarter than my testicles. Don't worry about it, you wouldn't understand.

Everyone talks about how bad our society is and how there's no respect, but can't you see that you're just part of the problem?

America ... the land of the intolerant, but home of the politically correct. What irony.

:q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q :q:q :q!!!!!!!! =)

ARE U A COP??? NOOO, SO WHY THE :q:q:q:q WOULD U GO PULL SOMEONE OVER??? UR RETARDED HE COULD HAEV HAD A GUN AND KILLD U DOTN PEOPLE THINK THESE DAYS??? I MEAN IF U WERE A COP I WOULD UNDERSTAND BUT UR ANOBODY JUST LIKE MOST OF US LOL.... I THINK U DESERVE WHAT HAPPEND, RIGHT NOW I AM PICTURING U TO BE A BIG FAT BASTERD THAT JUST GOES AROUND AND LOOKS FOR TROUBLE... GOD THIS PISSES ME OFFFFFFF!!!!! IF HE WANT TO DIE LET THE MOTHER:q:q:q:qER DIE ITS NOT UR PROBLEM.... i am truly sorry.. that was my evil side :(... good luck fixing ur ride man... STOP BEING A DICK!

And whta point is that.............................

^ He does have a point.

He is right, Paul should not have flagged the guy down, he should have just followed him and called it in. But, the guy did pull over. He knew that he did something wrong, and after being chastised for it he retaliated. And then to top it off, the cop, being his friend, basically allowed him to get away with a felony. I just hope that once in your life, you are put in the same situation. Where you need a cop, and they let you down.

The biggest problem that this country faces today is everyones unwillingness to get involved. If that same Azzhole runs into your mothers car and kills her because of his stupid driving, you will be the first to cry about why someone did not put a stop to his BS.

At least Paul had the Ballz to take action instead of being a pussy and watching the guy endanger others. I hate bleeding heart pacifists. Just remember, turning the other cheek just gives them a fresh target.

Nothing personal....................

*turns the other cheek* :)

Just venting. I have seen too many things go one in my area that could have been prevented if someone had just gotten involved.

I grew up in suburb immediately adjacent to Detroit; there were local cases where people that got involved in similar situations were shot and killed.

Telling somebody you don't like the way they are driving is hardly getting involved.

Voting, that's getting involved. Donating time, effort, and money to worthy causes, that's getting involved. Calling the police when the drunken neighbor beats his wife, that's getting involved.

The last thing I need is half a nation full of jackasses getting more involved in my life when many don't seem fit to take care of themselves.
