Chrome Trim:
Badge and Chrome trim treated with Duragloss 501

After stripping the paint the true condition of the paint was more visible. Obviously the swirls were apparent prior to stripping the paint but it became obvious that the previous detailer used fillers as much more inclusions came to the surface.

Swirls; marring; holograms, scratches - this paint work had it all!

Looks amazing Jason. How do you like that Aquawax for the wheels? How long does it last compared to DP Wheel Glaze or something like it? It does have a nice wetness to it. Good to see you've probably used all your Supernatural already LOL. Stuff looks great.

AW is something I throw on the rims when the customer has not ordered a full rim seal... it has no where near the durability of a sealant.. In my opinion DP wheel glaze or anyother sealant that is made specifically for rims is hype.. I just use my most durable sealant when sealing rims and that would be rejex or duragloss 105

WOW.. 74 views of this thread and you were the only one to comment.. Guess the caddy guys on this board aren't into detailing...lol

What does the pigment in the clearcoat mean? Is that something bad?

Those before pictures are pure blasphemy

Nope, nothing bad.. It is actually tinted clear coat from thye factory. Tinted clear is a process that's been in use now for years, it can be found on Infrared, Victory Red, Mary Kay Pink! etc

Cool, did not know that. Sounds like it'd make it that much harder if it ever needed body work.

Damn, so I guess my Wheel Glaze is mildly useless lol. Maybe I'll layer it with something else. It is pretty easy to use, though. Only 15 bucks. (Look at me try to justify it) What do you think of the rest of Autogeek's lineup like Wolfgang, Pinnacle and DP? Oh and I fixed the hose on the Foam Cannon, the O-Ring just got cut up. Works even better now, more pressure and more foam. I also just got the Black Wow in, did you find it troublesome to treat the trim around the windows on that LS you did here?
