My girlfriend and I are about to move in together and between the two of us we have six vehicles. However, to be fair that’s mostly my fault, what can I say, I’m a car guy. No matter how hard we try we can’t figure out how to drive more than two at a time. So with that in mind we’ve decided to simplify our lives a bit by selling a few. On the auction block today is her 2000 Lincoln LS V6 auto with 158,000 kilometers (~98,000 miles) on the clock. The car is located in Southern Ontario near London. The car would be easy to bring to the states since it meets Federal DOT regs and emissions. As with any 9 year old used car it could use a bit of maintenance to bring it up to tip-top shape. Since we really need to sell this before the move we’ve decided to sell it “as is”. I just don’t have the time right now to work on multiple cars…

About the car:
• Model year 2000 Lincoln LS
• 3.0 liter V6 dual overhead cam engine
• Engine runs strong and is nice and quiet
• No fluid leaks
• Automatic transmission
• Shifts well without hesitation or slippage
• Beige cloth interior that is in great condition
• Automatic windows, locks, climate, etc...
• Electric engine block heater keeps you toasty on those frigid winter mornings. It also helps the engine last longer by keeping oil warm and ready to flow thereby reducing cold start-up friction.
• Exterior is a lustrous deep red almost maroon color
• Currently inspected and emissions certified
• Interior is tan cloth with wood accents
• Rear control arm just replaced and we have an additional spare that will come with the car
• DCCV valve is brand new (thanks to forum member Max Z. of Five Star Ford)
• New fluids (oil and antifreeze)
• Exterior has been cared for and is sealed with with polymer glaze rather than a common Carnauba wax.
• The paint is smooth and free of oxidation

Items needing attention:
• Just got a small chip in the windshield. I'm open to bargaining on this.
• The (floor) air blend door is acting up which means that the hot / cold air mix is intermittent.
• The EVO valve between the radiator fan pump and motor is going bad so the fan speed doesn't stay consistent. Ford sells the part, talk to Max at Five Start (linked in the forums here at LVC)
• The previous owner was an older family member and she seemed to have a hard time getting the key into the keyhole so there is paint missing around trunk lock. And some stone chips as well. There’s no rust so a bit of color matched touch up paint could be directly applied to take care of it

We're asking for CDN $4,100 and are open to negotiation. I'd really like to see her LS go to a Ford / Lincoln enthusiast that can really appreciate the car.

Since we need to take care of the car stuff before the move we are open to other offers but we don’t want to trade for any other vehicles, this is a cash sale. If you have any questions about the LS please don’t hesitate to PM me. If you like the car talk to me, we can work something out.

Thanks,
Adam

I have never heard of CLOTH seats in an LS!! Wow... Nor a 3.2 engine. All the U.S. spec V6's are 3.0. it's cool to see variants from different areas!!

Rich,
I listed the stock features because we already received emails from our other posting with people asking questions like "is this one rear wheel drive". I just figure not everyone is as well versed as some of the members here so I'd rather err on the side of giving too much info rather than too little. I could have listed that it was rear wheel drive but thought it would be over-the-top. Since Google crawls this site it's not just members that view the posts.

Lincoln Luebbe,
Yup, cloth seats in this one. I like them because they breathe better than leather and don't show age with cracks and discolored lines. I guess it was not an option many buyers went for. As for the 3.2 vs 3.0, that was me being an idiot. Thanks for pointing it out, I fixed it in the original post above.

Another price drop, this really has to go before the move

Price is now $3,000 CDN which today is $2,780 USD. I can't believe no one has jumped on this, even if it were purchased as a parts car it could be parted out for a real nice profit.
