I just caught the last 5 min. of the debate on cnbc..it was when the audience
asked questions..most of their answers were bull s**t ..the last question was the most interesting..("what would be the first thing you will do the first 100 days?")... and none of them told the truth..mostly all of them said "end the war"...none of them said PARTY AND KISS THE ASSES OF THE BIG MONEY PEOPLE THAT FUND THEIR CAMPAIGN....DEMOCRAPS GOT TO LOVE'EM!!
 
Let me sum up the debate for you:

1. Bush sucks
2. Bush has screwed up Iraq and we need to get our troops out of there
3. I support the troops but not the war
4. The Republicans suck
5. We need to raise taxes on the rich and the government needs to take over healthcare
6. Taxes aren't high enough
7. I'm rich, but I care more than those other rich people whose taxes we are going to raise
8. Even though we haven't had a terrorist attack in America in 6 years, we're not safer because Bush's war in Iraq has caused terrorism
9. Did I mention that Bush sucks?
 
taxing the rich--> why?
they will worm their way out anyways, and IMO i think a flat rate would work wonders, and everyone in teh counrty shoudl pay, not just the people who actually work
taxes are fine, the government just needs to properly utilize the trillions of dollars they get
we need to get all the illegals out of this country and if someone wants to become a citizen i think they should serve in the force then take an extensive test IN ENGLISH

Did you watch the republicans? they were saying many of the same things - especially about Iraq War and GW. They were more toned down, but the message was the same.
 
The republicans are worst..their in a situation where they have to justify their actions and their words.
 
No, because all your doing is further making my point. There was certainly some distancing from the President on a couple of issue, but to say that it was an evening of attacking the President is utter bull:q:q:q:q. And it's tells more about the editorial decisions of the "news" sources you find than the content of the debate.

Unfortunately most people never read past the first paragraph.

What a perfect example of how the media is not only plagued by their left- wing bias, but this also demonstrates just how they all walk in lockstep with each other, usually taking their marching orders from the New York Times and then the AP.

I saw some of the debate. To misrepresent it as such is not even an editorial decision, but damn near a press release from the DNC.
 
I watched the debate - I cant remember all the exact quotes, but I remember hearing the same things. I rememeber thinking about how the candidates are distancing themselves from bush and the administration.

That was DURING the debates. The republicans dont support bush anymore, because it wont get them elected.

I don't support Bush anymore, either. Although probably not for all the same reasons that you don't.
 
I watched very little because I couldn't stomach the pandering. Watching democrats debate is watching bad commercials. They're also bad actors. :rolleyes:
 
wouldn't "pretenders to the crown" be more acurate?
