DESICIONS! This is really, really hard for me!(PICS)

You should swap out the eibach springs from the 93 over to the 97 as well..then you'll essentially have the same car just much lower miles and updated to a gen2 instead, I think that thing would look badass lowered with your cobra rs..don't see many 2nd gens with the cobra rs anymore..everyone does the saleens.

BTW if your Chrome grille and trim around the headlight and tail lights is still good you should leave it and keep the base look..everyone does the LSC look to the 2nd gens, I think black 2nd gen bases look good with the right wheels..just a thought tho.

Nice lookin' car! But what's up with that front wheel? It seems to be sticking out a little too far:confused:

I haven't stopped thinking about that. However the stiffer suspension is the reason my wife doesn't want to drive the 93 anymore & keeps on asking to drive the prarie tan. I think as long as I want to own a Mark my low/sleek days are over. I'm lucky enough my wife doesn't get mad because I force her to drive these cars & she has nothing else to drive.

As for the base trim? It's not as good as it looks on pictures. No gloss at all. Looks like someone went at it with a brillo pad. It will indeed get the LSC look.

Here's a picture I have of a nice version of what my car would look like if I lowered it once painted.

Wheels/tires are completely off, just laying there. Waiting a couple weeks to order the front coil conversion.

Did you try Craigslist for the front conversion? That guy you bought the header panel from is always selling them. Also, I think there is a gen 2 with a conversion on it in the yard off Southern in west Palm. I think you can get it for $40. Call me if interested. I can give you the directions.

I have deeply thought about the conversion & as much as this car makes for the PERFECT project, I've noticed that the front end parts from a 1st Gen are some much harder to find, more expensive & so much more difficult to maintain.

If I had the spare cash I'd keep my 93, buy a Cobra R hood, 20" wheels, new paint & the monster would be mine to keep for years to come but I cannot be greedy. My wife needs a good, nice car as her daily driver & how on Earth I've convinced her to ride along this MARK VIII roller-coaster with me is beyond me.
