Didn't expect this one.

If your rear tires are burned and the fluid is burned...sounds like you ragged the truck out and dont want it anymore.

30K miles is a hell of a lot of miles for a vehicle from 2011. And from all yours posts on here you drove it hard. I think that transmission even has a dedicated oil cooler.

Lots of things just not adding up.

I let a bank repo my truck back in 2003 and it's still :q:q:q:qing me now so have fun with that. If I could go back I would have done things a lot different had I known what kind of :q:q:q:q it would cause me now. You are making a stupid decision.

Well after much thought I'm taking everyone's advice and keeping the truck. I said no to the rustang. My brother in law is loaning me the cash to get the new mark on the road and I'm gonna pull the tranny my self from the truck and get it rebuilt with some stronger parts and a shift kit. I'll do a progress thread on it for :q:q:q:qs and giggles. Might do one on the new mark too. Gotta do coil conversion, finish front suspension, new rear sway bar new rear shocks, tranny pan pisses so I'm gonna do the jmod. Brakes all 4 corners and new tires. Wish me luck and thanks for the advice guys!

you need to raise some HELL with fomoco 30k and a bad trans is some bull:q:q:q:q.....

A few years ago, my buddy went out and bought a BRAND NEW loaded F-350 auto, and within 1 month, the transmission went out. Granted, he'd had an F-350 before and had done alot of aftermarket upgrades to it (bigger turbos, programmers, etc) and he kept all those upgrades when he traded in the old truck and immediately slapped them on the new one as soon as he got it and he always gives his trucks hell, from racing to pulling competitions, not to mention all towing he does with it for his farm. As I understand it, he didn't even bother messing with the warranty. He took it to a shop to rebuild the transmission so it would be bulletproof, and he hasn't had a problem since. Of course, I know that's a different situation than we're talking about here, as far as money being an object. This guy owns a very successful dairy farm, so he doesn't really have any problems with coming up with money for things like that. Anyone in their early 20's who pays CASH for a $60,000+ truck isn't hurting. (Must be nice...)

13k for a new trans or rebuilt? you may want to get a second opinion at a trans shop.

I 2nd that. What kind of transmission is this anyway for it to be a 13K rebuild? Did you buy a truck or transmission.... Seriously, how much would it be to change out 4 tires on it? 2K each and $75 for each lug nut replaced and $40 per valve stem, not including the $23 plastic cap that screws on.

I doubt anyone on this entire site even has a trans that is built to the max with all the best name brand parts for 13K or even half that. Maybe I'm missing out on something here but that quote is beyond my thoughts.
