diff cover brace..

SCP has one as well, I am using it. Their's is more expensive than Jegs, and I guess they both are interchangeable. As far as making your own I guess I would say it is one of those calls where it's not that expensive and it depends on what you want to charge yourself to fabricate and powder coat it and track down the hardware.

Are they interchangeable? I have all tools and resources available at work to fab one of these.. And plenty of time till spring. Just need a cover to work off of.
 
I would get that new reinforced cover.... who makes it again.... I saw a pic and it is bad ass!

lol. Ill have to look into that cover. More than likely going to order the steeda brace next week.
 
Why spent money on covers or braces,do you really need them ?I don't think so but that's your money so I'm not gonna tell you how to spend it.My brother is running bone stock IRS ,no braces, no covers and has 200+ 1/4 mile passes so far.His car had 5K+ stall before and currently running 4200 stall from DirtyDog with no problems.I'm sure you guys have seen his car in action before but here it is anyways VIDEO

As soon as the tracks open back up here which is March.Couple more passes that day would probably put him into 10's but got a warning on a first pass and got kicked out after the second pass.
 
Someone on tccoa makes rear diff braces. Got one on my car, just the same as scp's but cheaper, I dont remember price though.
