Hi I Just Wanted To Know If Anybody Have This Tires On Their Ls. The Reason I Ask Its Cuz Sears Has A Sale Buy 3 Get One Free. So I Just Wanted To Know If Anybody Had This That Way I Could Know About Them Before I Buy Them. If Anybody Has Any Opinions Let Me Know If I Would Really Appreciated. Thank You.

I have them. Since you live in chicago I'm guessing you want tires that perform well in the snow. I wouldn't know because I live in California. I got the tires for 117 each, 160 each installed. I dont think they do so well in the snow. I'm not sure which ones they were but they were falken tires that NYC LS8 had on his ls and it snowed some. Later that night he found his LS rolled back onto the curb from his drive way.

I put a set of these on my 2004 LSV8 this summer, they are the stock size as came with my car. I don't have more than a few thousand miles on them but so far they appear to be pretty good tires. I haven't pushed them to the edge yet, but they handle as well as the Goodyears I replaced. THe Michellin Pilots that came on the car wore out at about 36,000 miles. The Goodyears wore with about 40,000 miles but some of that may have been alignment related.

I have not driven in heavy rain yet and certainly no snow. They are rated M+S so they should be OK in snow but not as good as a snow tire. They are made in Japan if that makes a difference. I got mine for $100 each plus the usual at Americas Tire. I showed them the webpage for Discount tires with that price, so they honored it.

So far my experience has been good. Assuming they work well in rain and have good tread life I would buy them again, but still too early to definite.

hey thanks for the advice. also were do you live? does it rain alot were you live and does it snow.

I've had them on my aftermarket wheels. I left them on through winter which involved snow and ice this past winter in the St. Louis area. Only got stuck in the snow once and that was in a parking lot with gravel underneath the snow (not the best idea I know haha). Got into a blacktopped lot, did some donuts, and got out no problem.

They were pretty good tires overall and always impressed me with their traction. Dry traction was very well and wet traction never had any real problems. I am not the most conservative of drivers either, so I was happy with the performance.

The only complaint I had was that I only got about 25000 miles out of them. If I had gotten upwards of 40000, I would be buying them again.

Just noticed all it says on my location is Walnut, doesn't tell a whole lot.

Walnut is in Southern Calif east of Los Angeles. So, snow is extremely rare and rain has not been too common lately.

I used to live in Oregon for about 15 years so I have a lot of rain experience and some snow with my other vehicles.

My comment that M+S rated tires are OK but not as good as snow tires was from experience and confirmed by a recent article in Car and Driver mag. M+S definitely work better than summer tires in rain and snow.
