It's not about land; Israel is a tiny strip of coastal land (without oil)surrounded by miles and miles of Arab controlled land. Lebanon, Syria, Jordon and even Egypt could easily absorb the Palestinians into their domains and they wouldn't be noticed. Iran could transport them over and break them off a piece of Iranian real estate with little trouble if Iran really cared about the Palestinians.
