Dreaded Gasket Leak

Quick question guys. Took my 2004 LS in for the dreaded valve cover gasket leak and was told by the tech that there are upper and lower gaskets for the valve cover. They have had the car for two days now and I was told the reason was when they ordered the gaskets they did not know there was an upper and lower so they had only ordered the upper. I have not seen any thread in this forum about this. Is this true or are they pulling my you know what?

They did get me a free rental until they get it fixed so it's not too bad. Just wanted to know if what they told me true. Thanks.

I found another thread on the LS forum that confirms what the dealer told me. There are inner and outer gaskets on the 2004 LS V6. Sorry, should have taken more time to look before I posted.
