I know their has been alot of debate over which is better, So any opinions will help. And let me know about ebay ones too.

ya im looking to get some drilled/slotted rotor, im curious to see what your guys' opinions are on them too...

I did the search

o.k. I did the search and looks like everyone has different opinions. I am gonna go with the rotors Quik Ls uses. I found them on EBay from rotorworks in Cali... They are drilled & slotted, if Quik hasn't f%&#ed them up then they must be o.k. for normal driving. Has anyone seen a silver car with black rotors? Would it look cool on an LS??

The black wears off where the pads touch the rotor. I would go with zinc plated to stop rust.

yeah I did a bit more research I am going with the coated ones. To stay nice looking behind these Fooses...

You don't want either, unless they're made with the drilled holes cast into them, or they are gas slotted. The stress risers introduced when drilling holes or milling slots into a rotor are an invite for cracking eventually.

With the average street car, the drilled and slotted rotors do nothing but offer aesthetic benefits. They do look cool, but if they're not functional, and borderline unsafe, why use them?

Get yourself a nice set of Brembo rotors from Tire Rack, or another source, with either some Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads, or some ceramic pads if you don't want a lot of brake dust on your wheels.

I contacted a seller and he can get me dimpled/slotted rotors for the same price as drilled/slotted. So I have decided to go that route. Hey JC1994 long time no bicker....:D j/k
