Driver's Mirror Issue

A few weeks ago the exterior Driver's mirror on my '06 Lincoln LS has an issue with the edges of the mirror being tinted. I understand the mirror is able to tint at night to cut down glare from following headlights, however it never tinted during the daytime. I checked the mirror connections, and fuses. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. My thought is that it may either be the tinting or heating causing the issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is it an issue with my mirror finally crapping out on me?

The seal is going. There is two pieces of glass with a fluid in between. The mirror is crapping out.
