You can usually see anywhere from 5-7% lower temps on cars with these that aren't being battered to hell and back. However, paul is right about the reduced surface area. That takes away alittle from your total capacity. Whats worth more, a small percentage of your max stopping power, or 5-7% operating temp. Basically, its a wash. The reason I use them is becuase if its good enough for a $150000 mercedes, and a $450000 porsche, then its good enough for me
