Ain't that some shift! :eek2: Glad to hear you're ok though. I've had the rear end on ms LS step out a few times in the rain, but I've never lost it completely. This makes 3 or 4 bad wrecks I've read about on here where the back wheels decided they wanted to do the steering.
If the pillars are bent and the roof is rippled, its pretty much totaled. Even if it can be fixed, you probably don't want to drive it after a wreck like that. That's almost guaranteed frame damage and once the frame has been damaged its not nearly as strong as it should be after its fixed. And it could even make a second wreck even worse.

Thanks for the concern caddy, it's appreciated. I really think they will total it, and I definitely wouldn't want to drive it again. Fingers crossed there will be no problems, but you never know (especially with me lately, lol).

Just got a call from the ins. co.
The damage was $12,6k so far, but they knew they'd find even more things, and apparently this price doesn't include frame straightening. That would be hella expensive according to the dude.
They're gonna give me $11,9k for the car, which I'm very happy with. I paid 13k for it in March, with 62k mi. and now it has 68k mi., so I'm happy enough with the depreciation. I was worried they would lowball me and say something like 10k.
