emissions check light in 96 sls.

my emissions light keeps comin on in my dash,it stays on 75% of the time.i had the catilytic converter an the o2 sensor directly in front of it changed an its still on.sometimes when i crank up the car it will steam or light smoke until i drive it then it stops completly .i wouldnt call it steam its light an smelly smoke ..any sugestions or any one had this same problem?

naw not really its all some short :q:q:q:q really.i just like to get alot of different opinions.it runs sweet.its a 2nd car to our 03 deville.my girl pushes it most of the time,maybe its her,which one to get rid of?

Yes you can check for codes by turning the key to the first position (don't start the car) and pressing the off & warmer buttons at the same time. Write down the codes and then post them here.
