Hi everybody,
I'm working on a project with my son building a 69 ford truck. I found a 95 Mark viii that I am using as the donor for the engine trans and rear end. I plan on using the factory wiring harness and leaving everything as stock as possible to get the truck running before I make any mods. Just thinking ahead in the process I have a couple of questions.
1. Speedometer, can I get a signal from the computer that will run an after market guage or if i replace the speed sensor at the trans with a gear what will happen to my shift points?

2. Does anybody need any parts from this vehicle? The body is in great shape and most interior parts are decent?

Just make sure the tranny is in good shape ... you may want to have it rebuilt to make sure that it will last especially if he's planning on having some fun with the truck ...

Fortunately both the engine and trans were rebuilt about 50k ago. Got the paperwork from ford from the seller and there is a reman tag on the tranny.

Don you are on the right page for advice on the project & if you want to make some cash from your parts. Do yourself a favor, take a few pictures of the car (exterior/interior) & post them on this thread & a fresh new thread. Guaranteed that car will be stripped in no time & you WILL have CA$H in your pocket. Good luck on the project!:)

Thanks for the advice, really looking more for advice on some of the technical aspects of this more than selling parts. But if I have something somebody can use and I can get some cash I won't complain!

Hemmings Muscle Car just featured a 70 Torino built by a father and son. Mark VIII powered. If I remember correctly, their shop is in cali.
