I did. Please address the issue:

"Now, what do we do with all these people that were led to believe that the USA condoned their coming here?"

I think your comment would be more accurate if it said something like...Now, what do we do with all these people that were led by Vincenti Fox to believe that it's their right to violate American laws and illegally immigrate to the United States?

I wouldn't equate government neglect to enforce immigration laws to be the same as government approval of illegal immigration. After all, it's not like the U.S. government doesn't deport illegal aliens. The problem is lack of congressional leadership in the form of a comprehensive policy dealing with the huge influx of illegal aliens. After all, Congress has been aware of this problem since about 1992, and is still more concerned with money, politics, and power than protecting the American people and those that are here legally.

Now, however, since the majority of Americans want something done, Congress is reluctantly attempting to deal with it in its usual dysfunctional way.

While I don't have any problem with immigration, I do expect competent government oversight, which is clearly in the best interest of the Nation and the people. So far, however, Congress, in its typical incompetent way, is unable to agree on anything, except when it's time to give themselves a pay increase.

Border Patrol Tips Mexico to Minuteman Sites

The U.S. Border Patrol has been tipping off Mexican authorities about the whereabouts of Minuteman civilian patrols that are seeking to stem the flow of illegal immigrants.

According to documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government about the location of Minuteman and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegals crossing the border.

"Now we know why it seemed like Mexican officials knew where we were all the time," said Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.

"It's unbelievable that our own government agency is sending intelligence to another country. They are sending intelligence to a nation where corruption runs rampant, and that could be getting into the hands of criminal cartels.

"They just basically endangered the lives of American people." U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Mario Martinez confirmed the notification process, saying it is meant to reassure the Mexican government that migrants' rights are being observed, according to the Daily Bulletin in Ontario, Calif.

"It's not a secret where the Minuteman volunteers are going to be," Martinez said.

He added that Mexico's official perception of the Minutemen and other civilian groups is that they are vigilantes, and the Border Patrol hoped to allay that concern by entering into the cooperative agreement with Mexican authorities.

But Minutemen members say that reporting their location to Mexico nullifies their efforts to intercept illegal aliens.

And T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council – a union representing more than 10,000 Border Patrol agents – told the Daily Bulletin that agents have complained for years about the Mexican consulate's influence over the agency.

"It worries me [that the Mexican government] seems to be unduly influencing our enforcement policies. That's not a legitimate role for any foreign nation."

 What the he77 is going on here?!?!?!?!

I agree my parent came here from Greece Legally I might ad and became citizens and learned the language for that matter and no one ever put out labels on the store shelves for them. Instead of trying to accommodate them make them learn. I have been to many places in this world which have not been tourist minded which most of our states are not either and I didn’t see any 2way labels in their countries. I made sure I know at least a few words to get around before going to where ever I was going why can’t they? Not saying they should be fully lingual but at least know how to ask for direction instead of stopping me in the street for directions and stat talking Spanish to me assuming that I know (I do but that’s besides the point)

i work 2 miles from camden (basicly africa and mexico in 10 sq miles) and i get the illegals comming in every day. about 50% of my business is with mexis, and they never ever once try to speek english. All i do anymore is i say the word that i think they are saying, over and over again, untill they say it properly.

Problems Solved

A win-win situation.
Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
Take the dirt and raise the levees in New Orleans.
Put the Florida alligators in the moat.

LOL good one barry.

I never knew you had it in ya.

Here's an easier solution. Put up prison style fencing along all borders, with guard towers every 1000 yards. Arm the tower with a .50cal rifle, and dare anyone to cross. It won't take long for them to get the idea:shifty:
