Exhaust advice wanted

My set up is this: I gutted all my cats and went 2.25" all the way back. With Manaflow mufflers. Out of the 4 sets of mufflers I tried on my car... Magnaflow for the win!! They are not offensive but they sound very nice.

Well to update you I never did the exhaust as the car was stored all summer.
Now however, it's fallen apart.

I'm going to have the whole thing fabricated from the headers back. No cats, whatever mufflers the shop has. Maybe two glasspacks on each pipe, one in stock location and one where the cats were. Hope it won't be too loud though.

Not sure what to do about those small pipes leading up from the H-pipe? I don't need to have cats or smog pumps or EGR's here so what will it be beneficial to ditch?

THE SMOG PUMP IS LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE FRONT OF ENGINE UNDER THE ALTERNATOR, DRIVEN BY THE SERPERTINE BELT. THIS DEVICE IS USED TO RECIRCULATE THE EXHAUST GAS.A METAL TUBE FROM THE BACK OF EACH HEAD GOES THROUGH THE PUMP AND OUT TO THE FACTORY CAT PIPE..IF YOU CHOOSE TO RUN AN OFFROAD PIPE OR JUST WANT TO ELIMANATE THE SMOG PUMP THEY SELL SPECIAL PLUGS FOR THE BACK OF THE HEADS AND YOU CAN RUN A SHORTER BELT FREEING UP A FEW HORSE POWER.SINCE EMISSIONS ARE NOT NECESSARITY IN YOUR COUNTRY I ONLY SUGGESTED THIS FOR A CURE TO MAKE SOME FREE BREATHING FOR THE ENGINE AND MORE POWER AND YES YOU CAN GET A LITTLE MORE FUEL ECONOMY:cool: MY MARK HAS QUITE A FEW TRICKS DONE AND RUNS QUITE WELL WITH NO MISSES OR PROBLEMS...

I would go with a set up like this; http://www.ronmorrisperformance.com...mp&Product_Code=2115&Category_Code=Spec_Parts

I have an 87 mark 7 with the cats still on it with 2 dynomax bullet mufflers and 2.5" pipes, it has a good rumble going down the road at 60 mph. I would also reccomend a cold air intake to help with gas mileage, i am currently getting 18.1 on average.

We make a mandrel bent exhaust system for the Mark VII also, it bolts right up to the stock h-pipe, each side is in 2 sections for easy installation. The flow tube or intermediate pipe, muffler and 2 bends behind the muffler are all one piece. 2 nuts at the h-pipe and 2 self tap bolts through the stock bracket on the muffler and that section is done. Put the tail over the rear and attach it to the flange behind the muffler with a gasket and 2 bolts and 2 self tap bolts through the stock hanger and you're done. Repeat for the other side. A 2 1/4" system with quiet or turbo mufflers is $425 plus shipping, with magnaflows or flowmasters $525 plus shipping. A 2 1/2" mandrel system with turbos is $475 plus shipping and $575 plus shipping for magnaflows or flowmasters. No BFH required!
