Mine started to sound like a truck plus I was getting an exhaust smell inside.

You could have an assistant idle up the engine,and while the hoods up take a peek,and try to hear for which exhaust manifold is making noise,if the sound sounds like its underneath car,it could be an exhaust flange gasket.
