Exhaust Q...

Ive read that the stock exhaust for the 2003 Ls v8 is already a 2.25 inch piping system and the magnaflow 2.25 system offered isnt really much of an upgrade other than the sound quality. Since I'm really just going for more horsepower is it even worth it to buy a new exhaust? Will it even add anything? I plan on getting a xcal tuner for it and I wonder if not getting a new exhaust will gimp the possible horsepower gain from the tuner?

The stock exhaust gets down to 1 7/8" at the mufflers.

Upgrading to 2.25" wont get you much but sound anyway. The exhaust should be last on your upgrade list.

i'd go intake and coils first then exhaust, then tune. but i'm broker than hell.
