Factory THX Lincoln Navi

Hey everyone. Just was curious to see if anyone had the factory installation cd/DVD for the navigation software for the LS factory touchscreen? The guy that previously owned the car could not find the cd and I guess it reset because he had an aftermarket setup in there but put the factory unit back in which seemed to reset everything. If anyone has the dvd available or info on how to get the software, that would be a great help. ( I heard its not the best of navi software, but something is better then nothing until i figure out an aftermarket unit to install in the future. ) Thanks

Try ebay. Theres a few I've seen, unfortunately it'll probably run you around $90 even for old ones. Might be worth it to just pay $200+ for one with the latest maps from the manufacturer if you're set on keep the THX nav...or maybe just get a TomTom(or similar).

You may have to take it to a dealer. I haven't seen anyone here provide or have the installation disk around here. Could be wrong though.

You don't get the software for the navigation except as a service item if you are a dealer, and you shouldn't need it.

What you do need is the map disc. I could give you mine, but then I wouldn't have any maps. (It's not a one time load thing or something that reset. That map disc is read on the fly and must be there for the navigation to work.)

You can get the most resent one here. Prepare for sticker shock...

Hey Bull! Thanks for the shout out of my site haha. Yes once I detail the car and get it back from the shop, I will snap a few photos of the LS. Stocky for now but we shall see what 2013 brings, I have a connect with Niche rims, found a nice 3 piece rim I may get for the car after i do the rotors n breaks over so it looks a little more appealing haha. as for the navi map dvd, saw that price prior so not a shock haha. I might as well invest in a new touchscreen/navi setup. But thanks for the info guys, I actually may check the dvd player in the trunk and see if its in there haha I have yet to run anything from there so we shall see what i come across. I dont think its work 200 bux to get a lower grade navi when I can get a whole system for a hundred dollars more. But Bull, I am in love with the front grille. I got to come across one one of these days as well haha. thanks again for the info everyone!
