It's a variable speed fan, not a two speed fan. The PCM controls it to any speed between full speed and min speed. As a practical matter, it's probably more like a ten speed fan. I haven't found any spec on the CFM of the fan. My best guess is that it's somewhere between 3000 and 5000 CFM (at max speed).
Thanks, I am planning to replace the hydraulic fan unit with a Flex-a-Lite Model 188, 3,300 cfm and a Flex-a-Lite fan control, thermostatic, adjustable, 160° to 220°. Do you concur?
The Flex-a-Lite 183 is what I am using and its working great. I have installed several of these in LS's. I have mine wired on with key because those cheap radiator temp probes are hard to dial in perfectly and are inconsistent.
