I have one more question.

Is this normal?

If my car is in park and I hit my accelerator my car does not rev high like normal cars. I just want to see if that is normal. If I put the car in Neutral the same thing happens. The engine will rev higher but not like normal cars.

Normal...I had Torrie remove the park/neutral rev-limiter from my custom tune and it goes all the way up .

With drive by wire on the 2003-2006 you can not rev the car freely even to 3000RPM's. It takes about 10 seconds to go from 500 to 3000RPM's in these cars. Torrie still hasnt figured out how to get past this.

Wow, thats annoying. Are they afraid we will drop the transmission in drive at 6000 RPM or something?

You cant rev it past 3k on the 2000-2002's either, but I thought the tune in this gen would delete that?

It is annoying, very annoying! Who the hell would wanna risk doing that to a expensive car like this anyway ( neutral dropping )? I mean its going down in price but the parts arent really.

On a 00-02 you can at least freely rev to 3K.

On a 03-06 it wont even freely rev to 3K. Its a very limited slow rev on the newer models.

Strange...on my '06 it revs freely to 2k+....I haven't held it down to see how far it will go, just a couple of quick stabs. went right to 1500-1800 on the first 2000-22000 on the second.
