OK, I made the call for my Ferrari 19" staggered set of wheels. This time ( 3 weeks later ) the guy tels me he has to up the price cause I need special lugs. The price went from 695$ to 895$ just to add the lugs.
What is so special about these lugs? Are they just cause of the aftermarket wheel? I here some times with alloy aftermarket wheels they don't recommend factory lugs and they recommend that after being removed that you re-torque them. Is this the same case? Are they shorter or longer or something?
If so tell me what you guys that have the wheels used for the lugs. Did you go with the lugs they suggested, did you use the factory or did you find them at a cheaper price?
I have other lugs since the ones for the LS suck so bad so if I could I would like to just use them since they are what some call the acorn style with the closed end on top ( exactly what should be used for a wheel with open faced lugs ).
Also would a lincoln center cap of some kind fit?
