Handsome Car/Leather care

Very Nice, what a handsome color combo, next to my Aqua Blue/Graphite that is the best combination of colors. Sweet.

Here's how I take care of my leather in hot dry AZ. I use steaming hot towels when I clean, use a good leather cleaner like Meguiars Gold, then use Meguiars white creamy thick Aloe conditioner, slop it on really thick, use your hand to spread it all around the leather surface like your spreading peanutbutter on a sandwich. Leave it to sink in for hours, even over night, then witha dry cloth remove excess and rub it in and dry it. Your leather will look adn feel like brand new and wear like iron.
The leather in my '97 Mark is like brand new using this method, I swear by it.
If your leather is very dirty, you have to get it clean first. Use a soft brush like a fingernail brush and scrub with the cleaner, use HOT water and terrycloth towels, then the Aloe treatment. No Kidding, this works.

Good Luck with your new car, it's sweet.

I have always been a fan of the Autumn Red color especially with the tan interior. Also, you've got very, very low mileage on that car. Was it ever driven?

Thanks guys.

I take care of my leather by not letting anyone ride in the back seats, hehe.

Any tips on waxes or if I remember, some member used some sort of spray on wax/polish?

The car is in great condition- only 28K miles for a 2002, probably not used very much. I think the couple did not have any kids.

The Autumn Red is beautiful, goes great witht he tan interioir- I *think* the autumn red might even have some metallic in it?

I really dig your AQua blue color- they don't still offer that on the '06s, do they?

My Color

Thanks, I don't know if it is available or being used by any Ford product. You know, mine is in the autobody shop for repair from getting rear-ended... well last night I did a national search on autoTrader, there are only 2 Aqua Blue LS's in the whole country for sale right now. The nicest one was in Virginia at Freedom L-M dealer it has 23k miles on it. A beauty.
On the paint.... I use TR3 Resin Galze, doesn't wash off, good shine, lasts and lasts, can't put too many coats. I think polymer based are the best with today's paint. I have stopped using any carnuba-waxes, it just does not last.
Good luck!!!
