Finally had enough

Been wrenching on my 00 V8 for almost 2 years now. Work out one issue...wife drives it for a few days..another one pops up. Now it has started the intermittent overheating thing. I have thrown time and $$$ at this beast long enough. It is a love/hate relationship that no counselor would take on! She is listed in the 'For Sale" section of the forum.

That said...I want to thank those of you who have helped me with the issues I had fixing her and the support of this site. You guys are a fountain of knowledge that made it bearable to work on her and have some semblance of hope to have a perfectly running LS. I appreciate it very much!!

Don't know about your ls, and most who have made this decision don't turn back.... But sounds like you had a bad one to start.... I've had mine for almost 5 years with minimal problems.... Hate to see you ( or anyone) judge them of your problematic one....good luck with the sell

Sounds like there is a theme to all the repairs, you wife drives it after you fix it. Until you remove that variable, every car you own and fix and allow you wife to drive; you will always have problems. J/K hope it all works out for you.

Not judging the car....still LOVE it. At this time, just need something more dependable for her. At a later date may buy another because I know I will miss blasting her down the back roads.

As a side note...first person who came to check her out bought her.
