I am looking for new floor mats for my car and the ones Ken sells on his site with the lincoln star logo on the side are my favorite, I think. Does anyone know if black mats in a tan interior would look good? Or should I stick with the tan mats? The first pic is not my actual car, but it is the same color. The last pic, does anyone have these? Are they the same quality mats as the other ones, just with a different set of logos on them? Also, Ken, how much for that last set with those logos? Anybody have pictures of black mats in a tan interior, I'd love to see them. Thanks.

Apparently I don't know the color of my carpet. I just took this with my phone on my lunch break. Should I stick with that color? Would black mats just be too many different colors going on? Any thoughts?

yeah, they make the color of floor mats you need. Its called like silver flint or something along those lines.

black would prolly look bad, my gray on gray look nice I do like the contrast look though, my last car was blue with gray interior and i put blue mats down, it looked ok.

Its a matter of personal taste (or lack thereof), but I don't think black would look good on a gray interior.

The picture with the black mats and large logo is showing Lloyds Ultimats. These are top quality mats. Ken can speak better about their quality and how they compare to the premium OEM mats he also sells, but if you get them, you will not be disappointed.

On the price question, there is a calculator on his website to figure out the costs with embroidery, etc. You should try using that to determine costs.

I will say this about black mats in a car with tan interior. When we were searching for my LS replacement we test drove a 2007 Lexus IS350. It had tan interior and had black mats with the Lexus logo on them. The contrast was exceptional not to mention how easy it will to keep clean compared to a set of tan or lighter colored mats. We opted for the Infiniti G35 coupe with a light grey interior and light grey floor mats. When the mats are ready to be replaced I will go with the black mats with the Infiniti logo on them.

So, yes I think black floor mats would look great in a car with tan or light interior. If its good enough for Lexus then I'm all for it.

If you get the Lloyd mats that will be the last mats you'll ever buy for your car. At least that is what Lloyd Mats says. I believe them. I bought a set for my daughters VW beetle and she has beat the crap out of those things. Other than being dirty, they are just as plush as they were when I put them in there. As for the price of the mats, if you are wanting the exact style that is pictured the cost would be $189.98 shipped. The biggest cost are the logos. You can see the price breakdown below.
