How do i turn on my fog lights.. newbie question...lol Couldn't find it in my owner's manual.:shifty:

ahhh so i move the knob right till lights turn on and pull the knob?

Either turn to the left or right and pull the knob out, both sides work.

If you turn only one click to the right your parking lights will be on, so when you pull the "light switch" out in that position your fogs should come on without the headlights. If your bulbs work of course.

Yeah, and if you look carefully, there is a little green light close to the switch that lights up when the foggies are on.

Can someone point this guy to where the online owner's manuals are located?

I have a better light on the dash of my Focus to tell me the fogs are on, but all we get in the Lincoln is a little dim light on the switch......you know that's weak. I'm glad to have the fogs but the tell tale/indicator light seems like an afterthought.

I guess I don't understand what the big deal is. So what if it's an after thought. I'd rather not have some big cartoonish green indicator staring me in the face each time I light the fog lights lamps.

+3. IMHO, the indicator light is understated and not distracting. I would rather have this than a big bright light.

Owner’s manual is under Tech articles at the top of the page. Go down on the left and find one for your year LS or close to your year. Look under Lights, on page 94 of my manual.

Furthermore, I prefer to look at gauges and not some unnecessary idiot light. I know when my fogs are on because I PULLED THE SWITCH. Actually, with the automatic headlights on they are always on with the lights. The indicator on the headlight switch is more than sufficient as a reminder. Anything more would seem cheap and gawdy to me.

You know, 95% of LS I see at night have turned OFF fog lights, most of the drivers probably don't even know that they have em.
