i know theres a couple of you ridding low and slow
on cut eibach WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?:cool:
 
Define low and slow.

I'm low and slow enough by my standards. Considering Eibachs though. I won't post a million threads about it when I do though.
 
cut eibach
cut stock springs
or sprint springs
anything under 25 inches
 
Stock springs, sittin' sideways, boys in a daze when I get in though. :)

So starting another thread was supposed to help? The feedback you got in your other thread was for your own good. At this point, just go do what you want to do and stop makings useless threads for the sake of visiting a dead topic.

I do not think you are going to get the answer you are looking to get.

If you can't even figure out by the part number and information which are the fronts and rears you shouldn't be cutting them....just sayin

If you insist on doing it cut a little bit at a time with a cut off wheel and make sure you do each spring exactly the same ensuring you can still get them seated in the perches. Heat is a springs worst enemy and will ruin the properties of it if you get it to hot while doing this. So throw those bitches in the freezer for a day or run cold running water over them while you cut.

yeah i read that if your going to cut cut half a coil at a time
do i cut the top of the coil or bottom?
im assuming the backs are the one with the pig tail correct?

It's been so long since I did mine so I'm sorry I don't remember which is which. If I had to guess the rear springs might be a little taller as well? Not sure..

im going to check ...the writing was rubbed off because of aging im assuming thanks though
 
Cuttin coils is for girls I welded in solid rods for my shocks. Bitch lays frame and nothing else.
 
The springs should have a pigtail on one end to sit in the strut perch. You want to cut the opposite end.

BTW I searched "cutting Eibach springs".:eek: Since you seem to think we(LVC) is giving bad advice. Or you simply are not willing to accept it. I searched and found the same topic on several other car forums. You will get the same advice we gave you on the following forums: Mustang, VDUB, Honda, Toyota, Supra. They ALL say the samething. DON'T DO IT!!!!! Its unsafe. You will get a chitty ride. Etc.......

All you going to do is waste your money and time. Make a BIG headache for yourself. Poissly get yourself or someone else hurt.

At this point do what you want. You have been warn. The fact you have so many people with so much mechanical knowledge telling you don't do it. Yet, you don't take our advice. Makes me wonder do you really know what your doing at all.:confused:
 
Rollin, considering how many threads with the same topic we have from iivan, I propose that any more are IDEAL candidates for having them closed immediately. Feel free to look back at how many there have been.
