Rollin, considering how many threads with the same topic we have from iivan, I propose that any more are IDEAL candidates for having them closed immediately. Feel free to look back at how many there have been.

I have consider that already.

Wow. LOL. Can you lower them by cutting their fins? If so, you sir have at least 20 threads to start. That is until PETA jumps in.

Okay....that was terrible for me to even say. Sorry PETA. LOL.

Back to lowering the Dolphins. :)

If you insist on cutting them just go big and cut them in half. That would save you money as you would only need two springs.

Why not have custom springs made? That way you could start yet another spring thread. Think of the possibilities...... Heck, you might even get the responses you want.

I also like long walks thru the park, tulips and a nice summer breeze....oh wait...wrong forum....

Here is one Hite. It is because of global warming that we have so many da** dccv failures on the LS.

Don't mind me, just thread jacking

any reason why the front MUST sit lower than the rear? I always see lowering springs being lower in front than rear, and guys wanting their fronts being lower than rear.

I personally prefer my car sitting perfectly even rear and front. I love it when i'm carrying something heavy in the back, and my car sits nicely even (in other words same amount of gap between wheel and fender front and back). I understand that with the weight of the engine the front will always be lower than rear (without modifications) but is there a reason people like this? Is there a performance benefit? if you like the front lower than rear, do you think it looks better?

just wondering...

I like the front lower because it looks more aggressive IMO. The LS seems to have a larger wheel cutout in the front than the rear so if you lower the front and rear the same distance it looks like the rear is lower. This is just my preference and others will have their own.

Nothing like a nice rake. Owners have been raising the rear since the 50's. You used to be able to buy shackles that increased the distance between the body and leaf spring.

It also reduces the impact of global warming.

Aerodynamics.

At this point, I am "closing" both of the OP's threads. he asked for advice. Refuses to take. We are just wasting our time.

This thread is done.
