sorry, asking... i don't really know to be honest

Ahhhh my eyes... my eyes!!!

How about some info?

I unfortunately have to sell this car I've owned for several years now. Im sure many of you know about the infamous valve cover gasket problems, I have replaced the VCG at about 80k. New starter just a few months ago, the air bag light keeps blinking on and off which I have changed the clock spring once already about 2 years ago. no real "major" problems. car runs excellent when its not misfiring. Changed one side of the coils about 2 years ago, now probably needs the other side done, don't ask why only had one side done... Maintenance wise I never went past the oil change date. After the VCG switched to full synthetic, been changing the oil every 5k since... After the wonderful storm we had my rain guards are broken except for 2 lol. But I can either replace them or remove whats left... Would like some advice from fellow LS owner's, I would hate to part with it but its time to move on.. how much could I get for it? Blue book is about 6 n change or so... Looking for some tips, thanks.

If you had a offer for 7500 you should have taken it and ran.

I think you'd get between 3000-4500 for it. Maybe 5k if you find someone who actually likes the wheels and grille, but most people would prefer to buy a stock car.

Also, Ive been a member on here for a while now but lost my pw so had to create a new one. Ive always looked to these forums for any problems I ran into which a lot of ppl also had and I always got a solution so I'd just like to say that this site has been very helpful to me, especially when I had trouble finding the low side to charge the AC, which I still never got to charge anyway but know where it is now lol

I mean a guy was interested so I said 7500... who knows what Id get for a trade

got the car in 2005 with about 26k on it. now its a little over 133k. Had all sorts of goodies inside, the system, tv's backup camera, gps, HID's. and took most of it out, i got the factory radio back in, all the wiring is still there from the system because I was debating whether or not I should keep it or not. HID's were giving me problems so i took those out, again debating whether or not to install new ones or just wait for the next car... Again I would hate to get rid of it but Id like to get something for it before sh*t really starts to Fu*k up lol

only problems with it are the air bag light blinks and stays on after a while and randomly misfires on the parkway.. haven't plugged it in to find out which cylinders are misfiring yet. But should i bother fixing the problems and hope to get more money or just sell is as is to some shmuck, or trade it in like the lazy mans way out ? lol decisions decisions..

Probably not even worth a trade in. And I know for sure a misfiring car is a MAJOR turn off to any buyer. If you can wrench a bit yourself I'd take care of that and then post the ad saying "brand new coils and spark plugs" as that is much more attractive than "occasionally misfires and needs coils"

sorry to keep posting but Im up and bored lol took the rims and grill off every winter, which are still off today because of the surprise snow storms that seem to never go away, and I have the stock grill and wheels on... thinking of selling them separate. decent tread left on both sets of wheels. this car was my baby so I took good care of it for the 8-9 years I had it. Always put premium gas in since the day i got it... changed the fuel filter around 60k and again i think around 80k, prob could use another. wanted to put it in shows but never had the time and money to do extra work to it so it became my work/family car

Yes i agree and thank you. I prob will throw new coils in. the plugs are all new only about a year old or so. When I did the VC gasket, which wasn't very easy esp. on the driver side, the plugs were NGK, I was told to just use motor craft so thats whats in there now... any other suggestions? thx
