Turning the wheel slightly and gunning it would have also shown the 1 wheel wonder.
This is why I drive around the water pit at the track, and only spin the tires enough to clean them. Heating street tires is useless but thats another topic. Point it straight and ease into the throttle and you should prevent the embarrasing 1-tire fire.

BTW you can LSD the stock diff. Its when you want to gear it you need the 8.8.

LMFAO just kidding man dont take it to heart.. It was more of a question if I had it or not cause like I stated, Ive never owned a car with an open diff that would spin both tires no matter what the circumstances, that and I was pretty ****ing excited cause the first post in this thread from me was literally 3 minutes after doing the burnout..

I agree the LS does seem to use both wheels alot. But even when both are spinning or grabbing it is likely uneven though and still not quite the same as a Traction Lok.

And of course it will never do it when you want it or need it too.
