Friend just bought a mark needs some help

Ok back to this project, i went over and parked mine next to his, took out fuse number 16 on mine and it did the samething as his car(the message center didnt work and the fuel gauge went straight up.) Well i look at his and someone put a 15amp fuse in there when its only supposed to be a 10. So i put a 10 in it and nothing changes. So i guess theres an open in the circuit somewhere and i have no idea how to fix it.
The compressor doesnt try to kick on and makes no noise, the maxifuses that have anything to do with the suspension were all fine. Do you think i should just tell him to buy the spring conversion? Theres a cheap one that sells on ebay for 200 dollars.
Also the airbag light that blinks is 5 blinks a long pause then 1 more blink a pause and it starts over any idea what code that is?
BTW Ill be sure to get some pictures its pretty dirty right now but im sure it wont stay that way as steve is a neat freak and loves clean cars. Oh and this morning he said he wants to keep it now... so who knows he likes to change his mind a lot.

bumpy bump any idea what the airbag light means?
