Guys, as you know i recently got a 94, well it was from PA where they don't need a front tag, now in jersey I need to have one, anyone have a plate bracket for sale? perferably in NJ so i can pick it up??

YEA $94.00 from ford, I'm just looking for a used one, doesn't matter what color either

i'm not worried about the ticket as much as wondering if it'll pas inspection without it? i know it'd be ashame to drill into that virgin dark portifino blue bumper :(

LMAO. DON'T drill into a virgin bumper!!!

Get the plate and attach it with double sided tape directly to the bumper just for the inspection! Then go home and remove. That sticky, double sided foam tape that people use for hanging pictures (available at DIY stores) might do the job. Only has to be secure enough to endure the 'shaker' machine in the state inspection station.

Mines coming off... And I'm gonna chop up the plate bracket to fill the ugly holes!

I'm not running a front plate on my Mark.... I don't care, the ticket can't be that much....

you wont care untill the blue lights are in the rearview and you here this from ocifer dickhead I pulled you over because you dont have a front tag....is that beer I smell? click click car towed ,licence lost:mad:

Ya, they do that. I got pulled over for having my month decal covered up on my plate. He said so, but his second question was "How much have you had to drink?". I had not been drinking, but he used the plate issue as an excuse to pull me over.

No ticket though and he commented on my "great looking" rims :)

I don't drink or do drugs, at least not while I'm driving :).... so every time I have been pulled over the only issue has been with my driving or the car itself....

I still say leave it off. Laws are really only guidelines lol.

BTW: This is my 1000th post. Heres to another 1000!

Well if your car came with one and there will be holes after you take it off leave it on.... but if there are no holes don't put one on!!

My gen 1 plate holder is half missing! Hence I'm gonna cut circles out of it to fill my bumper's holes. Should fill the holes and blend pretty well...

Mine has holes where it use to be...if I can find it I'll give it to you for cheap. Like $10 bucks or something haha. I don't care for profit just wanna help another person out. :)

lapollos junkyard in woodbury has a green gen 1 that im pretty sure has the front mount still attached.. and i also think Kaspers Korner in clementon has a gen 1 parts car in their parking lot..

I have a black on on my Mark, I think I can take it off, I have Ohio plates on my Florida Mark, Ohio you need a front plate, Florida you dont, Have just been avoiding the 100.00 welcome to Florida plate fee, I dont know if I am going to take it off (any one know what I will find behind it? holes?) or put a cool Bears Plate or Lincoln plate on it

ive been pulled over quite a few times for no front plate, one time i had some grass and got busted, i still havent even attempted to put a front plate on, f*ck em.
