does anyone know how much it would cost for parts and how difficult it is to change all of the strut rod bushings? it's gotten quite bad..the front wheels are moving back and forth all the time..while taking off, slowing down, drive to rev...etc. i'm needing to fix this asap before my wheels hit the fenders, also it is making alot of noize..

thank you.

How much cost? As in do it yourself or shop? DIY: $30 Shop: More than $30 :) No clue, maybe chicken can answer but if they go by the book you are looking over one hour since the lower control arm has to come out. I did mine without taking the arm out. Either way an alignment after would be a great idea.

excellent..i certainly have to do it myself..every shop i've been to, i've been back to..for the same problem. i suppose i could get the parts cheaper online? any suggestions as to where? thanks again.

Actually Advance Auto will have good prices on these, if you have one around you. At $30 you wont save much going online - think shipping.

excellent...and advance happens to be the only parts store that i would not like to see burning to the ground..i've gotten more wrong and already broken parts from murrays and autozone.

thanks alot guys

yeah i dont know how much, but it wouldnt be cheap, since the time is figured with pulling the LCA, even though i did mine without pulling it, that would be what the price would be quoted from. and yes 100 times on getting a alignment afterwards, the strut rod is your casted adjustment, no tire wear but big time steering issues and pulls will result

Sounds like you may have more going south than the strut rod bushings. Seeing LCA's gotta come loose might be good time to replace?

excellent..just waiting on the tax return, then i can invest some more money into the suspension. i'm certainly having some pulling problems as well as alot of noise. i look forward to having all my wheels mounted on there again. should drive like new.

alright, i'm about fed up with this air ride. went to the gas station, with the switch off like always. so i get out and the front end is all lifted up..looks like all the way. i've never had a problem with it leaking. i filled it up once and leave the switch off, the compressor never came on.

so, it's decided now that i'm going to tear all this off.
does anyone have any pics of what the ride height will be like with american air suspension's coil kits? they offer 2 different heights and i don't know which one to get because i have never had my car at the correct height.

thanks alot.

Proper ride height Front is 24.5" bottom of rim to top of wheel lip
Rear is 24.5" same

Tolerance is +/- 1/4"
