Frost King lip installed.

didn't mean to not comment on the mod Pete, and to be quite honest i do not like it on your car. your car has always been one of my favorites and a lot of it has to do with the color of your car. this mod just seems like your heading in a different direction than the classy, elegant and flowing type LS that you already have. your stocker looks a lot better IMHO. maybe if you would color-match then you would be in business but i know it's impossible to paint that. just my 2 cents here

what are you doing shopping at HD Pete?

I know, right? I had to go incognito. sunglasses and a hat :shifty:

But I also like to check out my competition. See what they have on display. See how busy they look. Ask tough questions that they can never answer :D

See, I feel exactly the same way about it. As of right now, I don't like it. But I'm giving it a few days to see if I change my mind before I take it back off.

I really just did it because I ran out of mods for the time being. This was something that had been talked about before, but no one had done yet on the LS. So I figured what the hell. A couple hours, 20 bucks. Then you know what it looks like, and know what to expect.

Best case scenario, I would've liked it. But, unfortunately, I don't think it fits. It looks like I'm trying to hard.

Take a picture from further back so we can see the whole car. It may be understated enough to work. I would agree that the Mach1 spoiler would definitely be too much for your car.

If it matched the side skits in color and texture I would give is a two thumbs up... but since it doesn't I would take it off....

Yeah side skirts are a textured plastic, and treated with black wow. The front lip has only been cleaned with and APC.

But it also seems a bit HIGHER than the stock side skirts next to it.

im not sure what would make your car look better than it was. you had a few subtle mods to class it up. One of the really cleaner stockers. I like it the way it was. maybe just clean up those holes in the front bumper lol

First chance I get, it's coming off. Thanks for the comments! I'm glad no one talked me into keeping it. Oh well, I've spent 20 bucks worse ways than this before.

And about those holes in the bumper...

Can I just use the red putty spot putty stuff? then just touch that up? I repainted the plugs so they match better for the time being.

yes you can use that putty and touch up paint. not the best way but itll work for pretty cheep

What would be a better way? I have the spot putty in my tool box, that's why I asked. I used it to fix some curb rash on one of my wheels.

I'm not an autobody guy, so I have never used bondo.

I really want a gen2 lse bumper, so I don't want to go crazy spending money on this one.

idd stick to it and just sand the holes smooth. the right way is to redo the bumper completely with it filled in

yeah, 250 bucks to get rid of the color matched plugs? funny guy!

When I get my paint I'll be doing a write up on how to fill in the bumper holes... all in good time.

well, the thing is, I can fill in regular chips in the paint, so I should be okay filling in these. Just overfill, sand down, and polish out.

I'm going to fill the bumper holes in with a plastic epoxy.... but the whole process will be kind of involved... my front bumper really needs a full repaint.

Mine does too. there are a bunch of hairline cracks on the passenger side from a real light hit. Was there when I bought the car, but somehow missed it. And there are the standard pits from 9 years of bugs/freeway stuff.

It's not a loud enough mod to be something to dislike. I think it could be noticeably bigger and still work/look good. Nice job.

Got in late on this one...... I like it. It looks good. Plus, it does provide some protection for the front bottom edge of the bumper. I have though about doing it to my RAZZI lip. For protection of scraping of course. .....

i like it dude allot but i ask have a question does it flop around when driving or highway speeds?
